Training Now! offers free workshops for anyone over 19 from its centres in Eastbourne and Hailsham.

Our craft tutor Mia is holding a variety of different craft workshops each Wednesday ranging from sewing to felt animals to candle decorating. These workshops are suitable for beginners or experts.

Independent Knitting group

Do you fancy knitting with like- minded knitting enthusiasts? The knitting group meets every Friday to share knitting techniques, tips and hints and socialise over a cup of tea!


Get out in the sunshine and join us every Wednesday from 9am – 4pm for a fun and informative day of gardening. Learners will be starting from the beginning and transforming raised beds into master pieces with support from our experienced gardening tutor. Beginners or advanced welcome.

Art Course

Learn different painting styles and techniques with the support from our tutor. We are running a 6 week course starting on the 13th June – 18th July. This is suitable for beginners or experts!

Card Making

If you have birthdays coming up or simply enjoy creating cards this workshop will be perfect for you as you get to create your own beautiful hand crafted card.


Furniture Painting

This workshop is perfect for anyone who is looking to improve their skills in preparing and painting furniture. During the workshop learners will learn new techniques in how to sand, paint and finish items of furniture. This workshop is held every Wednesday from 1pm – 3pm.


Are you interested in woodwork?  You may already have extensive woodwork skills and, if so, you will know there is always more to learn or perhaps you want to learn the basics of wood?  Look no further! We have just the thing! We are holding woodwork workshops every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am – 1pm starting from the 4th April. We will be creating bird houses, garden planters & more!


Every Tuesday learners will create an easy and healthy meal on a low cost budget.


Enjoy a peaceful escape and join us on our beautiful allotment. We will be running workshops on Thursday’s and Fridays 9am – 4pm and starting from the very beginning. We will be getting the plot ready for planting, understanding and optimising soil for better growth, planting and growing fruit and vegetables and setting up a shed for tea’s and coffee’s after a hard days work! Beginners and advanced are welcome.

All materials for all of our workshops will be provided.
