Tesco Bags of help – Vote for us!

Now! Charity Group Ltd are thrilled that we have been chosen to be part of Tesco ‘Bags of help’ scheme.
From Friday 1st September to Tuesday 31st October you can vote for us to receive up to £4,000 to help us to continue to run our woodwork workshops in Hailsham.
Our woodwork workshops are free and available to anyone 18+. We believe that running woodwork workshops will allow us to reach out to more isolated people in the community and support them to connect with others and improve their wellbeing. In the last two years we have supported over 400 local people to build their confidence and skills by holding a variety of free activity workshops including: Art, cooking, crafts, maths and english and as a result of this have supported many into voluntary work or employment and we are hoping that with the woodwork workshops in Hailsham we will be able to do the same.

To vote for us is simple! When shopping in Tesco Hailsham or Tesco express (South Road) in Hailsham you will be given a blue token at the checkouts which you can put into our box!

To check the location of any of the above stores, please go to the tesco website here:

  1. Where abouts is the woodwork centre? As I am interested
I am disabled and love woodwork.
Also I have been looking for something like this for years and have never found anything.
I even asked the council last year.
    Why not advertise better?
Lots of us looking for help to get out.
I even looked at starting something myself but had the council smash the idea before I could even start anything.

  2. Thanks for your message. Our training centre is located in Hailsham – Unit 13 – 15 Station Road Industrial Estate, Station Rd, Hailsham, BN27 2EY. You are more than welcome to join us. If you can email me your details – sophie@nowcharity.org.uk I can get you booked on this.
