After 5 years at the helm, Now Charity Group Ltd will soon be saying goodbye to its Chief Executive Officer, Petrina Mayson.

Now Charity Group Ltd was established in 1994 to increase re-use, reduce waste and tackle
disadvantage for the people of East Sussex. It has won numerous awards for its environmental
impact, quality of its training provision, business acumen, partnership working and the life changing difference it makes to local people’s lives.

During her time with the organisation, Trina has overseen the transformation of the charity’s
infrastructure; a change of name; a complete rebrand; the opening of 2 new sites and the move
towards self-sustainability.

Trina said “I am incredibly proud of everything the charity and its dedicated team have achieved
during my tenure. Maintaining support for 35,000 East Sussex residents per year against a backdrop of reducing public funding is an outstanding achievement. I am confident that the charity now has a sustainable future, and feel that it is the right time for someone new to take it on the next stage of its journey. “

Phil Ashford, Chairman of the Board of Now Charity Group Ltd said: “I would like to thank Trina for bringing such passion, dedication, expertise and energy to her role. Whoever replaces her as our Chief Executive is inheriting a successful, vibrant and well respected charity with a skilled and committed team.“

The recruitment process for the new Chief Executive Officer will now commence. If you know someone who would be right for the role, please see the job specification here and apply by emailing
