FREE Gardening workshops for all!
If you have an interest in gardening or just enjoy getting out in the sunshine our gardening workshops will be perfect for you. You will not only get hands on experience but also learn plenty of gardening tips and advice from our experienced tutor Ray. We own two allotments, one in Eastbourne and one in Hailsham and last year our gardeners successfully grew a range of fruit and vegetables including: Courgettes, Pumpkins, Green beans, Strawberries, Raspberries and Tomatoes.
There is something for everyone to do on our allotments whether its seeding, potting, using the strimmer, weeding, digging, or painting our shed or planters, there is something for you to get stuck in to.
If you are interested in joining one of our allotment groups then call us on 01323 887199 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
We work at our Eastbourne allotment on Wednesdays from 10am – 2pm and work at our Hailsham allotment on Thursdays from 10am – 2pm.
We provide all materials so you won’t need to bring anything with you, just make sure you wear something warm and some sensible shoes such as boots or wellies as it can get muddy!

Attending the gardening workshops twice a week has really helped me, before I had several interviews but due to confidence issues I didn’t get the jobs. Coming to the gardening has helped me to get the experience I need by learning new skills about plants and crops. It is easy to get to the allotment and its not a huge group so it makes it easier for me. I would love to come back in on my day off and see how everything is doing.
